Sony PRS-T1 approaching
We return to the article a few days ago relating to the alleged rumors of new Sony ebook readers with additional news and tangible signs that they understand how the Japanese company is preparing for the launch of new products.
First on the American version of the site of Sony models are all out of the stocks that are not in stock and then, in fact, not purchased.
But the biggest news comes from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) confirming the receipt of a prototype Sony "PRS-T1 - Digital Book Reader."
The FCC is an American agency that is responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of all U.S. radio (TV, smart phones, netbooks, etc..) That are being placed on the U.S. market and often the publication of the evidence on the Net to which these products are subject to know you can preview some technical detail.
The model name "PRS-T1" is reminiscent of current devices, and so the new device should be an ebook reader electronic ink.
The technical details given in the documents published by the FCC, however, are minimal: it only mentions the presence of Internet connectivity type wi-fi, audio output and micro SD slot for memory expansion, the latter aspect that is an element of rupture with the current PRS models, also expandable with Memory Stick Sony's proprietary.
However no reference to the presence of a USB port and a stylus (for touchscreen), but it could be two elements relevant to the checks that have been submitted to the PRS-T1.
If Sony will present the new device on the market in September could begin as early as October (as it was in 2010 for models currently on the market).
