Gadgets Digital storage
As I've mentioned an endless number of times in my column, as well as in responding to personal emails, everyone needs to backup digital content, especially digital photos. But unfortunately most people do this after a computer crash results in lost images.
One of the simplest ways to backup your images is with the Picture Keeper.
After just minutes I saw that it works as advertised the simplest way to automatically backup pictures from your Mac or PC.
Click here to find out more!
Just plug in the flash drive-sized unit and click to tell it to start backing up
There is no software to install, it's stored on the drive itself and runs directly from there when needed.
After that, whenever you plug in it will find any new digital photos and add them to the pocket-sized flash driver.
You can get the Picture Keeper in different sized models ranging from the PK4 ($29.99) to hold up to 4,000 photos, the PK8 ($59.99) for 8,000 photos, the PK 16 ($99.99) for 16,000 and the PK PRO ($139.99) for up 250,000 photos.
All these numbers can vary depending on individual photo sizes.

Western Digital (WD) has introduced the WD Nomad rugged case to protect the popular WD My Passport portable hard drive.
The pocket-sized drives are built to be portable but the portability exposes them to accidental drops, moisture and other unfriendly elements.
With the extra protection of a Nomad case, the drive is stored in a rugged case with a polycarbonate exterior and an inside of shock-absorbing elastomer cushion.
It also features a heavy-duty latch and silicon liner seal to help keep out dirt, dust, and moisture. It has a molded exterior ring to attach a carabineer, cable, or nylon strap for more convenient accessibility.
Even when stored in the case it gives you full access to the drive's contents with an opening for the drive's USB connector.
The WD Nomad case will store My Passport drives including My Passport Essential, My Passport Essential SE, My Passport Elite, My Passport for Mac and My Passport SE for Mac.
WD designed the case to strict military standards for ruggedness.

Frustrations and temper tantrums while sitting at your desk can now be taken out on a padded hockey puck-sized USB device called the RageGage.
Anytime you get the burst of frustration or anxiety just smash down on the device and it will respond with one of many useless responses, all designed to get your mind off the problem and release your rage to get you back to what you were doing.
Even without the need to whack it, like anyone else would I continued to hit it to get to say all of its preloaded responses. The harder you hit it, the different the responses are and different color LED lights flash.
A USB connection lets the RageGage connect to a PC to use in online games or change the voices being broadcast.
RageGage Connect is a new free PC application to let you smack someone on Facebook.
Once you are logged into Facebook, just select a Facebook friend who needs to be smacked.
As stated in a recent press release, "smash away on the RageGage and the raw violence imparted on the unbreakable gadget gets transferred directly to the Facebook friend's stupid, smirking face, complete with audio and visual stimulation."
