The holidays have already started in some provinces and Nvidia for holiday presents early now the new high-end graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTX 580M and 570M, which will be used mostly in portable devices such as laptops to the course.

The new graphics cards support DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.1. Also CUDA, PhysX, SLI, 3D vision and Optimus technology is supported. The GTX 580M GPU was manufactured in 40nm process and offers 384 CUDA cores with a clock speed of 1240MHz. The GPU clock speed is specified with up to 620MHz and 2GB of GDDR5 graphics memory offers at 3000MHz frequency.

The GTX 570M is slightly slimmed down and appears with 336 CUDA cores and clock speeds of 1150MHz and 3000MHz for the shaders in either 1.5GB or 3GB of GDDR5 graphics memory.

While the GTX 580M offers a 256-bit interface, the GTX 570M is a 192-bit interface. The two new graphics cards will be found on such soon in the new laptops.
