Every film, whether good or bad, it is able to give viewers a sense. Hachiko brings about a lot of people cry, Buried gives the viewer a very uneasy feeling, the Saw-parts keep their pathological cases and the typical average staccato of the stress level at an enormously high level and then there are films that one perfect finish and helpless [insert any Aronofsky film] to leave. Tom Hanks' film is one of the so-called Larry Crowne feel-good movies. It's just incredible pleasure to watch the film. Why Hanks' directorial work, in effect, is still only average, upscale, learn it in the next lines.

Larry Crowne (Tom Hanks) is a successful team leader of a large company in the midst of life. When Larry is one day set but, surprisingly, by his employer on the road, it means to orient a new career. After emerging unemployment Tristesse summarizes the older generation already owned a life-changing decision Larry: To make up for his degree, he will again visit the local college. There, Larry closes on an eclectic group of misfits, all of which are in search of a better future and, occasionally, make sure the city on scooters. In addition, Larry falls in love with his beautiful teacher Mercedes Tainot (Julia Roberts) and realizes that life has to offer after each still so hard to return again and again positive.

Hanks chooses' to the economic crisis as a starting point, a surprisingly serious scenario. However, at this point like I said, it remains only a starting point. The story is about the nearly 100 minutes never a "there are difficult times" also. No finger-wagging, no solution and no oversized club murky morality of the action. This has its advantages and disadvantages.
Firstly, the movie precisely because it does not bring about another depression, but for others it is unfortunate that even such a serious topic is presented as a little evil. Crowne Larry should just be fun and just talking and Hanks also manages for the most part. The humor is easy to digest and takes place only in very few moments really into the foreground. Faecal and coarse humor here persona non grata. Everything is very nice and accessible manners shown, but also again almost a little too sweet.
There are no exaggerated asshole and no real opponent, all the people around are very good and like Larry. Thus the film is also badly in many places simply not credible. It's just all somehow too smooth at Larry's new life course. Even the person Larry is a merciless one decal gooders: verpeilt A little naive, but with a big heart in the right spot. Since it is a mere formality that the movie drifts into kitsch strongly towards the end.
But as I said, the audience should feel at home. With the cast Hanks has done everything right. Of course, he had himself and Julia Roberts are the center of the story and they both seem really fun on the set to have. Such two acting heavyweights are, of course, much too good to put those wheels in the sand. But the absolute highlight is the numerous and well-occupied supporting roles, most notably George "Sulu" Takei. His performance as the slightly-ass professor is probably the most memorable.
